About this tool

The Random Wheel is useful when a group should be able to see a selection happen. Add names, tasks, meals, discussion topics, or any other options, then spin the wheel to choose one. The wheel gives the process a visible structure without turning the page into a game or gambling interface.

Entries are processed inside your browser. You can paste a spreadsheet column, load a practical preset, save a reusable list on the current device, and remove a selected entry before spinning again. Duplicate entries remain allowed because repeated values may be intentional.

Tool data stays in your browser. Your entries are processed in your browser. Pikyo does not send your wheel list to Technway.

How to use it

Enter one option per line or load a realistic preset.
Review duplicates and settings such as spin duration, sound, and winner removal.
Select Spin wheel. Pikyo chooses the result before the visual animation begins.
Copy the result, remove the winner, spin again, or clear the temporary history.

How Pikyo picks the result

Pikyo generates the winning position first with your browser’s secure random-number generator. It maps that value to one of the available wheel entries without giving any entry an extra advantage.

The wheel animation happens after the result is known. It makes the pick visible and fun to watch, but it does not change which entry was selected.

Before you use the result

The Random Wheel is intended for everyday choices, classrooms, meetings, games, and informal activities. It is not certified for regulated lotteries or high-stakes medical, legal, financial, employment, or safety decisions.

Quick questions

Are wheel entries uploaded?

No. The list stays in your browser. Analytics events never include the actual names or options.

Can I use duplicate entries?

Yes. A repeated entry receives an additional position in the list and therefore a higher chance of selection. Pikyo warns about duplicates but does not remove them automatically.

Can I remove a selected winner?

Yes. You can remove the result manually or enable automatic winner removal before spinning.

How many entries can the wheel handle?

The current limit is 500 entries, with a maximum of 100 characters per entry. Long labels are shortened visually but kept in full in the text list and result.

Does reduced motion disable the tool?

No. Pikyo skips the long spin and reveals the selected text result almost immediately when reduced motion is requested.
