About this tool
The Name Picker focuses on speed. Paste a list of students, colleagues, participants, or candidate labels and choose one or several names immediately. It is a better fit than the wheel when the result matters more than a visual spinning experience.
You can allow repeated winners, automatically remove selected names, or keep a temporary history for the current session. Saved lists remain on the current device and can be opened again without creating an account.
Tool data stays in your browser. Your names are processed in your browser. Pikyo does not send your participant list to Technway.

How Pikyo picks the result
Pikyo uses your browser’s secure random-number generator to choose from the names currently available in the list. Each eligible position has the same chance of being picked.
When you ask for several unique winners, Pikyo works from a shuffled copy of the available names so the same person is not selected twice in that result.
Before you use the result
Do not use a random name picker as the only basis for employment, grading, medical, disciplinary, legal, or other high-stakes decisions.
Quick questions
Can I select more than one winner?
Yes. Enter the required winner count. Pikyo explains when the request is impossible because unique winners exceed the available names.
Are repeated winners allowed?
You control this setting. Repeats can be allowed for independent draws or disabled for unique winners.
Can I paste names from a spreadsheet?
Yes. Copy a spreadsheet column and paste it directly into the list editor.
Are saved lists shared between devices?
No. They are stored only in the current browser and remain available until you delete them or clear browser storage.
Does Pikyo know who the people are?
No. The tool treats every line as text and does not identify, profile, or analyze participants.
